Four legs and a tale or two from Crow's Nest Stables

Life on a small farm in Missouri raising gaited trail horses and black angus cattle. Contact us at: Crow's Nest Stables, 6901 County Road 3390, Peace Valley, MO 65788, phone: 417-277-5577 or 417-274-6197. We enjoy talking to horse lovers, so give us a "Caw" sometime! Our beef is hormone and anti-biotic free & grass fed so it has less fat content. Also, we usually have a good horse for sale, and if we don't have what you want, we'll try to help you find it!

Happy Horses

After months of separation, Silver, the stallion, is finally allowed in with Missouri Showtime (barn name "Mo"), American Saddlebred in middle and Pushover's Heart of Gold (barn name "Push"), Tennessee Walking Horse. Silver's and Mo's foal will be a registered Racking Horse and Silver's and Push's foal will be a double registered Tennessee Walking Horse and Racking Horse. If it is spotted, it will also be registered as a Spotted Saddle Horse. Silver is so happy to finally have his very own harem!

Registration photos

Foals must be registered before six months old in order to avoid penalties, so it's picture taking time...as well as pulling mane/tail hair for DNA tests & completing registration papers.
