Life on a small farm in Missouri raising gaited trail horses and black angus cattle. Contact us at: Crow's Nest Stables, 6901 County Road 3390, Peace Valley, MO 65788, phone: 417-277-5577 or 417-274-6197. We enjoy talking to horse lovers, so give us a "Caw" sometime! Our beef is hormone and anti-biotic free & grass fed so it has less fat content. Also, we usually have a good horse for sale, and if we don't have what you want, we'll try to help you find it!

This is Seve's Pushover, a coming two year old Tennessee Walking Horse. He apparently tried to jump the fence to get in the adjoining pasture with a Tennessee Walking Horse mare, Jamaica Mistake, and her pasture mate, an American Saddlebred mare, Missouri Showtime. Fortunately, SP is tall enough that all four feet touched the ground so that his weight was mostly off the gate. And he remained calm enough for us to pour Wesson oil over the gate & underneath him so that we could open the gate and slide him off. All's well that ends well.

Oh, Lord. At least it was a gate and not a fence.
