One great thing about our Rocky Mtn./Kentucky Mtn. mares is that they can stand out in the pasture for months with no attention - let alone no riding - & then we can catch them & ride & they behave as if they'd been ridden all along. The Rocky Mtn. breed is known for its 'puppy dog' disposition, & our broodmares have been excellent representatives of the breed.

Looks like the perfect horse for someone who has put her own equestrian skills out to pasture.

And altho there is no such thing as a perfect horse any more than there is a perfect human, in my book Bella comes pretty close to horsey perfection!
