Broodmares

Chinchilla, the small, bay Caspian mare, is in foal to Shovan, our Caspian stallion, for a 2010 foal. Betsy, a buckskin Missouri Fox Trotter, is currently open. With horse prices plummeting, we can't afford to breed all our broodmares this year.

Are the foals ever spoken for, that is, purchased before they are born?

Or is it a matter of waiting to see them once they arrive and reach a certain age?

I'd LOVE for them to be spoken for! As is, I can't even seem to sell them once they're on the ground. I've determined that ALL SUCCESS in ANY business comes from MARKETING...something I know NOTHING about. I must learn how to market!
Any & all advice very much appreciated!!!

I think Hannah is the girl to ask.

I think Hannah is BRILLIANT! (And Chris, too!) Last night I watched Hannah prepare her online portfolio on her MAC, & she went so fast that I couldn't even WATCH fast enough!!!
