Magic Mushrooms ???

The pastures are filled with mushrooms. Are these 'magic' mushrooms? (They are in the sense that they appear suddenly.) What kind of mushrooms are these & are they poisonous? Are they harmful to cattle or horses? Is the livestock going on a spirit journey without my knowledge? Where is C when I need her?! I'd better start googling...

The ones I've seen are darker. And they always grow directly out of cow patties. If ou don't pick them at dawn they shrivel up by afternoon.

I'm thinking cash crop here.

Sliced and marinate with Chelada, add some Heirloom tomatoes, and Voila!

A great appetizer for the new Cowgirl restaurant.

I can officially say these are not magic. Wrong shape, wrong color...I mean, not like I grew them in terrariums at Vassar or anything.

But truly, CBA has it. SELL SELL SELL!

Well, shucks - no magic for me.
So who's moving to the Ozarks to help me sell? I'll need a marketing agent & a gardener in addition to all the other job slots.

Me! I'm your girl. Claudia says I can stay at the Goose. Maybe I can build a small cabin somewhere on your
property, eventually, and be your Ranch Hand.

As soon as Cate graduates from high school.

Sounds good to me!!! But I still want C to be the chef because I dislike that job. Do you cook as well as sew?

I can do it all.

But let's leave the cooking to C.

Although... you know the phrase that's guaranteed to send her into a swivet?

"What's for lunch?"

She'll have to get over it.

I don't like to clean.
I don't like to cook.
B likes to clean.
She doesn't like to cook.
She's still winning.
What's for dinner?

Shrooms every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Who needs to clean, cook or do much of anything else?
